The Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli is a 4.226 km (2.626 mi) long circuit located on the Adriatic coast of Italy. The circuit was built in 1972 and has hosted the MotoGP since 2007. The circuit is named after Marco Simoncelli, a MotoGP rider who died in a crash at the circuit in 2011.
